Student Worker Spotlight: The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona

The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona is an organization that seeks to change lives in the community by feeding the hungry, hoping to create change.

We are grateful for Hank and Chris Shea's commitment to CWSP. Through their sponsorship, they have connected us to this worthy organization. CWSP has placed four (4) students this school year at the Community Food Bank.

Our San Miguel students are happy to support such a worthy organization. They provide meaningful support in Donor Services, Finance, Inventory, and the Child Nutrition Program. The students support with data entry, donor management in Raiser's Edge, invoice records, and food inventory, a crucial job that helps to ensure families receive what they need.

"Gloria and Amelya have been amazing, helpful, personable, and are incredibly intelligent and adaptable to various changes. Every single supervisor they are around loves working with them, and it’s a gift to have them with us at the CFB!" - Alex Swain, Volunteer Services Coordinator
