Supervisors Corner: September 21

Our student-workers are completing their first month of the 21-22 school year at San Miguel. We have overcome any challenge or nervousness about return to an in-person academic and work program. Our students are now settled, working hard, and enjoying the company of their peers and coworkers.

The first month at our remote work hub was a success! As with any new venture, there were small hiccups at the beginning, but ultimately, with the support of our partners at CFSAZ, we managed to iron them out and move forward.

As our students start their second month of work, I want to express my gratitude to our many corporate partners that welcomed our students into their workplace (either in-person or via remote work). The students have a "can-do" attitude and are happy to be at work with you.

Lastly, as we move into the fall season with the COVID-19 pandemic at the front of our news, I want to assure you that CWSP is committed to maintaining health and safety practices that align with CDC and Pima County recommendations. You will find details of our practices below.

Warm Regards,

Samantha Miller
