Resilience Fund For 2021-2022 School Year

Despite all of our efforts to adapt and respond to the changing Corporate Work Study landscape, the reality is that the ongoing recovery of paid internships for our students will be slow and likely last throughout this year and into the next as many corporate partners map out their own future for the workplace.

Before the pandemic hit, students took a full college preparatory course load while simultaneously holding paid internships and earning nearly 40% of their school tuition, because many partners did not renew their contract this year, this has now dropped to 23% of their tuition. This leaves us to raise the necessary funds to fill the gap and help our families this school year. I once again ask you to consider giving to bolster our finances and propel our mission past current challenges into a brighter future.

Because of you, the San Miguel mission will be as resilient as ever, and the future is not only promising, but an inspiring roadmap for the future signified by growth, innovation and as always, graduates who are prepared for very bright futures. Thank you for your consideration.
