Celebrating Catholic School Week

January 30-February 5th marked this year's Catholic Schools Week - a nationwide celebration of Catholic education. What better way to start off our February than by celebrating our school's Catholic, Lasallian character?

At the special Catholic Schools Week mass, Santa Monica parish priest Fr. Malu reminded us that our school's Lasallian character calls us to go out and make the world a better place - together and by association.

Throughout the week, we focused on a different aspect of Catholic education every day- Community (Monday), Students (Tuesday), the Nation, specifically our widespread Cristo Rey Network community (Wednesday), Vocations, specifically the brothers, sister, and aspirant we are lucky to have at SMHS (Thursday), Faculty, Staff & Volunteers (Friday), and Families (Saturday).
