The Lasallian District of San Francisco New Orleans Office of Vocation Ministry Director Brother Chris Patiño, FSC has announced that, having completed his second term, he will step down from his position effective July 1, 2022. Brother Visitor Donald Johanson, FSC, in coordination with Visitor-designate Brother Nick Gonzalez, FSC, has appointed Brother David Caretti, FSC to be the new Director of Vocation Ministry, also effective July 1.
Brother Donald offered his thanks and congratulations to both Brothers, saying, “On behalf of the District, I express my deepest gratitude to Brother Chris’ for his tireless and faith-filled dedication to his work as vocation ministry director, as well as for representing us so well in the larger vocation ministry of our Church. I congratulate Brother David as he takes up the important leadership responsibilities of accompanying young men into the Brothers’ life and of animating a culture of vocation throughout our District.”
