5th Annual Rising Stars Golf Tournament Surpasses Fundraising Goal,
Raising the Most Funds in Event's History
| At the 5th Annual Crest Insurance Group Golf Tournament for Rising Stars, over $54,000 was raised by 84 golfers. This was supplemented by the Tucson Conquistadores' presentation of their generous $12,000 donation to San Miguel's athletic department. Funds from this donation sponsored the Athletic Department including our San Miguel cheerleading team.
Tyanna Castillo, student ambassador and cheerleader, was present at the tournament to thank both the Conquistadores and the golfers before they headed out, cheered on by San Miguel cheerleaders, for a day of beautiful weather, stunning views, and good company.
Thank you to the Omni Tucson National Resort for hosting the event. Thank you to all our volunteers as well as Cristina Baena, from Crest Insurance Group, who was our golf chair for the 5th year in a row.
We appreciate our wonderful supporters this year including PVB Fabrications, Concord General Contracting, Inc., Jim Click Automotive, Arizona Leadership Foundation, Arcos de Oro, LLC., our foursomes, and all of our volunteers.
