CWSP Update

The CWSP team is amped and ready to march into Spring! Although the weather has been a bit... unusual, CWSP is excited to roll out our regular Spring programing! The Spring Shining Star Award nominations were sent this week, our Semester 2 Pulse Checks will be coming to work with students before the end of the month, and our CWSP Coordinators are pounding the pavement and completing site visits to ensure the safety of our students in their job placements, as well as meeting with you, our supervisors, to provide support as you guide and mentor our students.

As was announced last month, Samantha Miller, former VP of CWSP Operations, has officially moved on to her new role working with a local agency providing psychotherapy to women in recovery from substance use disorders. Read on to learn more about our Interim Vice President, Rene Huerta - A San Miguel High School & CWSP Veteran, with years of experience and passion guiding him as he dynamically leads our team. Additionally, CWSP welcomes Christian Teran to the team; scroll to learn more about Christian, an alumnus, and what brings him back to San Miguel High!

As we look toward the 2023-2024 school year, we want are excited by new partner signings and current partner re-signings. Our students are afforded a college-preparatory education and genuine opportunities to foster career readiness due to your commitment to our program.

Thank you for your continued support!
