San Miguel HS students selected for a Descubre College Tour arrived in NYC Monday 4/10 afternoon and have had a great start to their trip.
They were blessed to have shared a flight with reitred Tucson Bishop Kincanas on their way to the big city and they enjoyed dinner with Mireya Iglesias ('15) near Times Square.
They will be visiting Manhattan College and Saint Peter's University before taking a train to Philadelphia where we will meet with Racheal Bailey ('15) for a classic cheesesteak.
Wednesday they will visit Villanova University and La Salle University (where Racheal is currently completing her Masters).
The group then heads to Washington, DC for visits to Georgetown University and Catholic University of America.
Tyhveen Robles ('21) and Emilio Cazares Borbon ('22), current Georgetown students, will also be visiting with the group.
Students and chaperones will benefit from some morning sightseeing in the nation's capital before heading home.
