Spare Your Collar Dress


Today's our first SPARE YOUR COLLAR of the year. For $2 you can dress down and out of your uniform (handbook dress down rules apply and are included below. You must buy a wristband in the front office before school in order to dress down.

 ● School appropriate tops * see list below
 ● Black or dark blue jeans which are clean and free of tears, holes, frays 
 ● Clean sneakers permitted; must cover the entire foot.

 Free Dress Code Guidelines When deciding what to wear for special dress days, students must keep in mind the general principles of the regular dress code, especially with regard to neatness, cleanliness, modesty and good taste. Appropriate shoes and socks/hosiery are required at all times. Anything that violates these principles is not acceptable at any school- sponsored event. 

 The items listed below are specifically NOT allowed on special dress days: 

 ● Pants/jeans with holes, tears or frayed edges Low rise or hip hugger pants, jeans or skirts
 ● Attire with offensive logos (e.g. alcohol, tobacco, satanic symbols, sexual innuendos, etc.) Form-fitting or clinging tops or shirts
 ● Revealing clothing (e.g. tank tops, sleeveless or cap sleeve attire, crop tops, halters, off the shoulder or one shoulder, sheer, low-cut, strapless, etc.)
 ● Any shirt or top which does not provide coverage of the cleavage, midriff and lower back at all times Skirts and dresses may not be worn on special dress days.
 ● Shorts may NOT be worn
 ● Bike or knit shorts, stretch pants, sweat pants or pajama pants
 ● Any oversized, baggie, gang-style, or related attire
 ● Sandals or any shoe with an open toe or open back
 ● Head coverings, including sweatshirt hoods, bandanas, baseball caps, etc.
 ● Pajamas or pajama-like clothing
