Brother Matthew Prayer service

 Good Morning Vipers,

Today on the Feast of All Saints we are reminded of all the fellow saints in our world, who through their daily efforts make the Gospel's message of love, generosity, and service known to everyone.

For today's mass we want to especially thank Santa Monica's Parish for welcoming us as a school community to be part of their faith community for today and also Mrs. Coronado for assisting with mass preparations.

A sincere thank you to those student ministers who assisted with the liturgy today including our altar servers Jose Sanchez, Giada Coronado, and Susan Valdez; our lectors Jackeline Valenzuela, Dayani Rodriguez, Isabela Cordova, and Braulio Cardenas; our San Miguel class candle bearers Ephrain Norriega and Marely Acosta; and our gift bearers/ushers Izeah Cantu, Daniel Ramirez, Eilsel Moreno, and Gabriela Borboa.

Another thank you to Mr. Meyer, Mr. Schuck, and the members of the choir for our musical accompaniment for today's liturgy.

Last week we celebrated our Respect for All Persons Week with our respect prayer service.

A thank you to the student ministers who assisted with that prayer service including Karla Federico, Michel Cardenas, Evan Benitez, Alice Felix, Shaila Norriega, Rachel Campoy, Silvana Caro, Dayani Rodriguez, Giada Coronado, Jackeline Valenzeula, Braulio Cano Rene Sosa, Eilsel Moreno, Ivan Mormolejo, Aisha Goldschmidt, Jazmin Mungarro.

A special thank you to Ms. Mendoza and Ms. Bailey for inviting us to a deeper awareness of the land we are on and the Tohono Oʼodham understanding of land, respect, and relationships.

Thank you to the choir for leading us in song of the summons and continuing to answer the call of God in our lives.

As we heard in the prayer service -  respect is love made visible in relationships. Let us continue to make San Miguel a special community by our care and concern for each other.

Blessings,

Brother Matthew
