Our junior class experienced their service retreat and college visit on March 21st and March 26th. They visited New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM.
The weather in Las Cruces was a little cooler than Tucson. There were sack breakfasts on the bus and lunch was an all-you-can-eat buffet in the New Mexico Student Union (already paid for). Of course, there was time to visit the bookstore for a souvenir or two.
Students have been notified of what they are doing each day. Brother Matthew provided an opportunity for a service retreat.
They met in the gym by 6:15 a.m, left at 6:30 a.m., and returned by 6:30 p.m.
