This year we hosted Cristo Rey St. Viator (North Las Vegas). The work was focused on using student work (from our talented sophomores) to build a re-engagement lesson. Math teachers from both schools created and implemented a live, public lesson (with 10 math teachers) in one of our sophomore integrated mathematics classes.
Ms. Brianna Mustard, who led the Professional Development for both schools stated, "I am always deeply thankful for our math team who says "yes" to these professional learning experiences. Live, public lessons are one of the ways we build our instructional strategies."
