Our dear Sister Mary Ann will be finishing her tenure at San Miguel High School at the end of this school year.
As we all know there is mystery to our lives and who God puts into our paths. We are grateful God led Sister to Tucson to teach students almost ten years ago.
She has stated it was a wonderful adventure and now it is time for her to continue on a new adventure as part of the vocation team inviting and supporting young women called to become Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity.
She will be based out of the Motherhouse in Manitowoc, WI but foresees quite a bit of travel as part of this ministry.
Sister Mary Ann stated, "It is impossible to express well the feelings of gratitude I have for each of you and how you have welcomed me into your lives and our community here at San Miguel. I have learned so much from each of you, compassion, friendship, support, dedication, understanding, patience, forgiveness, joy, faith, hope and so much more. I will always cherish all the memories we have made, the students we taught, the generosity and kindness you have shared with me. I promise to keep each of you and your families in my prayers along with all the students and families who become part of this Lasallian school community."
In the words of St. Francis:
May the Lord bless you and keep you,
May the Lord be gracious to you and shine his face upon you,
May the Lord fill you with his peace.
Live Jesus’ love in our hearts…forever,
May the Lord bless you and keep you,
May the Lord be gracious to you and shine his face upon you,
May the Lord fill you with his peace.
Live Jesus’ love in our hearts…forever,
Thank you Sister Mary Ann!
